Can I use my old power cord (10A 250V) on my new PSU? My Corsair RM750 came with a power cable that has an incompatible socket type, I cannot mount it on any of my wall sockets. On the new PSU cable, the socket-end of the cable says "16A, 250V", and the PSU-end says "10A, 250V".
If that's the case, you're fine. basic plug adapters just pass through the voltage they receive (230 in your case),and the 250V is just telling you the max wall outlet voltage it's rated for. Then as long as whatever device plug you plug into that can handle 240 input, you're good.
As your campervan has a native 12-volt system onboard, creating an additional 12-volt campervan electrical system to power all 12-volt appliances is a relatively simple process. 12 volts is safe. Generally, electricity lower than 50 volts is classified as safe for human contact.
Very unlikely. The plug is a 20A plug. This is normal for a large window unit. The breaker should be 20A. Anything larger is a Code violation. But it's a good point. I'll let the OP answer as to what the numbers are on the breaker handles. Upvote. Electrical - AC & DC - converting 220v forign plug to 220v us plug - hey everyone, hope someone
