Have you taken a look at the wiring diagram - here: Wiring diagrams for SLK320/230, Fuse locations for SLK320. Headlamps for cars with Xenon lamps appear on page 40. K40 Relay Module - Fuse F5. Hi guys and girls, 2002 SLK 320. On regular occasions the car will cut out, everytime its because the F5 fuse, one of the blue 15 amp fuses located on what is commonly known as the K40 relay module, has blown. Might try removing and replacing the fuse that protects the cruise control. It is located in the fuse box located under the hood, drivers side. I don't recall exactly which one it was, but that did the trick for me when mine ceased to function. Might make note, even though the fuse didn't appear to be "broken", putting in a new one fixed the
